The Soldiers’ Memorial Hall was opened in 1927 as an Institute.
The Mount Pleasant Centenary booklet, 1947 states…
…The new hall was of brick with timbered frontage and is one of the finest country halls relative to population…
and this is still the case today.
This wonderful hall has all modern facilities required for a function – three ovens, large stove-top, refrigerator/freezer, dish-washers… large dance floor, stage, dressing room, dress circle. The Westphalen Room is a large upstairs room suitable for meetings. Hire of any sections of the Hall is negotiable with the Caretaker. For complete details Venue information for public access
